Health Social Health Orientation Center (SHOC)

The Social Health Orientation Center (SHOC) is a project of care, coordination, and orientation for beneficiaries of temporary protection who have fled the war in Ukraine and stay in the Brussels Capital Region.

The Social Health Orientation Center (SHOC) provides support and coordinates actions in the following areas:

- Finding and appointing a family doctor based on the place of residence,
- Scheduling appointments with medical specialists,
- Support and assistance from mobile teams in the areas of translations, social protection, and mental health,
- Orientation to partner organizations providing cultural and social support,
- Access to valuable information about medical and/or psychological assistance available in the Brussels Region,
- Detailed information to ensure integration into the Belgian healthcare system,
- Facilitating access to social assistance,
- Legal and family consultations,
- Protection of victims of family and sexual violence,
- First health check-up,
- Medical consultation with a therapist in crisis situations.

SHOC is located at Rue de la Loi 89, 1000 Bruxelles.

RECEPTION HOURS: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:30 (last entry at 17:00). 

Group mental health meetings operate until 20:00 (as per the schedule).
