Registration with Actiris as a Job Seeker:

Actiris is the public employment service of Brussels. It helps people looking for jobs and supports employers in finding workers.

Why register with My Actiris:

  • Access to job vacancies and a personal advisor.
  • Courses, training, and retraining opportunities.
  • Support with CV writing and interview preparation.
  • Additional programs for youth, newcomers, and foreigners.

Registration is the first step to receiving all this support. You can register online via My Actiris or in person at a local office (by appointment).

How to register?

(If you already have a Belgian national number)

  • Register online (in French or Dutch) at my.actiris.brussels.
  • Re-registration (extension) is done through your My Actiris personal account.
  • Computers are available for self-registration via My Actiris in the multimedia zone of Cité des Métiers (Avenue de l’Astronomie 14, 1210 Brussels). Advisors are available to assist in French and Dutch.
  • By appointment in person: You can book an appointment at one of the 17 Actiris offices or call the free number 0800 35 123 (French or Dutch). Addresses of the offices are listed below.

Don’t speak one of these languages? Ask translators or acquaintances who speak them for help.

  • You can also come for a consultation at the Ukrainian Voices office, located at RUE DE LA LOI, 89, 1040 Brussels. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 16:00, 5th floor, room 501 (Job search workshop).

IMPORTANT!

  • If you live in Flanders, you will be asked to register at the VDAB office (the regional employment bureau in Flanders).
  • If you live in Wallonia, you will be asked to register at the Forem office (the regional employment bureau in Wallonia).
  • All Ukrainians are accepted under the same conditions as other job seekers.

Language courses are held on the 3rd floor. For detailed information about the courses and registration, it is recommended to contact the main Actiris office directly.

Also available on the 1st floor is the Cité des Métiers (Professional City).
Cité des Métiers de Bruxelles is a free professional guidance center open to everyone seeking information about education, employment, retraining, or starting their own business.

Opening hours:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 09:30–12:30 and 13:30–16:00
  • Thursday: 13:30–19:00 (until 16:00 during school holidays)
  • From 12:30 to 13:30, the center is open only for self-guided work with documents and computers
