Ukrainian folk dance is a joyful art form that reflects the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Ukrainian people. This art form is woven from history, religion, work life and various ceremonial events.
One of the key features of Ukrainian folk dance is its energy and dynamics. Dancers use complex movements, jumps, spins and foot stomping to convey fun and emotion.

The young participants will discover the world of art by Frida Kahlo, Banksy, Louise Bourgeois, Picasso, René Magritte, and recreate famous art objects with their own hands.
We start with the incredible Louise Bourgeois and her legendary spider MAMAN. How much does one of the most expensive sculptures in the world cost? In which countries can you see it? How old was the sculptor when she created it (spoiler alert – 88!)? How tall is MAMAN? To whom does Bourgeois owe his spider inspiration? All this and a lot of creative inspiration in the Ukrainian Voices space.
