The performance “Draw me a plane” | Вистава “Намалюй мені літак”
We invite you to the play ‘Draw Me a Plane’ (adaptation by Mykhailo Urytskyi based on the novel of the same name by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt).
The action of the play takes us back to the end of World War II. It seemed that such horrors could never happen again, but no, not even 80 years have passed when the shadow of fascism looms over the world again. And new fanatics shout ‘heil’ to their fuhrer, and he threatens the world with a nuclear club. It seemed that such things could never return… But our excessive tolerance, faith in human reason, believing that everything can be resolved peacefully, has led to the threat of a Third World War. And now, an old German pilot is forced to atone for the sins of his youth. But not everything is so gloomy, because women stand by the main hero…
In the director’s interpretation of the play – by Georgiy Kurinov – a woman is the embodiment of Life, and it will exist, even if it has to be given up for it. The performance will be accompanied by English subtitles.

Запрошуємо вас на виставу «Намалюй мені літак» (інсценізація Михайла Урицького за однойменним твором Еріка -Емманюеля Шмітта).
Дія вистави повертає нас до часів закінчення Другої світової війни. Здавалось, те жахіття більше ніколи не може повторитись, але ні, не пройшло і 80 років, як тінь фашизму знову нависла над світом. І нові біснуваті знову кричать «хайль» своєму фюреру, а він погрожує світу ядерним кийком. Здавалось, таке не може повернутись… Але наша надмірна терпимість, віра в розум людини, що все можливо вирішити мирним шляхом, привела до загрози Третьої світової війни. І ось вже старий німецький льотчик вимушений спокутувати гріх молодості. Та не так усе похмуро, адже не дарма біля головного героя знаходяться жінки…
У трактуванні режисера вистави – Георгія Курінова, – жінка – це втілення Життя, і воно буде, навіть якщо за нього треба віддати власне. Запрошуйте своїх друзів: вистава буде дублюватись англійськими субтитрами. Чекаємо на кожного з вас!
